After the basis for the future alpine slide will be prepared, the time will come to take the next step – to choose the stones that will make up the composition of the future “Miracle of Nature”.
As reports/sauna/district/centralnyj/despite the apparent simplicity of this stage – this appearance is deceiving, because, you see, a good background always plays a decisive role in creating a composition. Therefore, approach the choice of stones deliberately. What is needed for this?
Firstly, choosing stones, it is worth paying attention to such a detail as color theory. No one forces you to delve into its study, however-minimal knowledge can still help choose the background for the future composition correctly and avoid common mistakes. So, the first thing to determine for yourself is the dominant colors in buildings. Cold or warm?.. The fact is that against the backdrop of a fence folded from ocher-red brick, a mountaineering, in which a bluish slate is used will look like a blue disharmonious spot. If warm shades prevail on your site, then it will be better to perform the hill in such colors, using stones and boulders of golden, “rusty” or reddish shades, for example, granite. If the predominant color scheme of objects is cold, then you need to pay attention to bluish slate or limestone.
Another important factor is the tone compatibility of stones. Dark or light? When decorating climbers, it is better to use stones of the same tone – that is, dark with dark or bright with light ones, to avoid the “pockmarked” effect.
The next determining moment is the texture of the stones. When creating an alpine slide, it is customary to use similar materials in their structure. The combination of rough and smooth surfaces of the stone is not a common solution, due to the fact that in the vast majority of cases – in the wild, one can often find the dominance of one breed over the other. For example, it is better to place boulders along with pebbles, since both of these species have floods of outlines and a smooth texture.
And finally, the basic rule of stones: better than more than more. If you want to create a natural, attracting attention, but not a played landscape – it is better to use a couple of large boulders in the role of the main element than a handful of medium. This will help not only give expressiveness to the appearance of the hill, but also focus on the necessary areas!
