Many of us dream of a beautiful, interesting and, of course, stylish garden. Historical and geographical factors had a great influence on the formation of garden styles, so each of them is distinguished by a certain layout, the location of paths, plants, etc.D. Moreover, many room repair in a personal house is carried out in the same style. Consider the most common types of gardens.

The French garden is based on the regular layout of the elements: wide straight alleys, cut trees and shrubs, strict bosquets and carpet flower beds. The French garden has a large area and all its elements are designed to emphasize the architecture of the house that dominates the entire surrounding environment.

The Italian garden is distinguished by the location of the garden on the terraces with the help of retaining walls, as well as a large number of architectural elements (sculptures, stairs, balustrades, complex water structures).As in the previous style, the Italian garden is characterized by the use of strict regular layout.

The English landscape garden leaves its roots in the 18th century, when the British borrowed the principles of creating landscape gardens in China. The English garden uses winding gravel and sandy paths, picturesque streams and ponds, free plant plantings and complex bright flower beds, small architectural forms of gray stone and wood.

The Islamic Garden is based on the square, which is also divided into squares (the layout of the Chor-Back-“Four Gardens”). In the center of the squares there are small fountains, which are covered with colored mosaics, fragrant plants (roses, lilies, spicy herbs), cells with singing birds, etc.D.

The Japanese garden usually has a small size, while full of philosophy and symbolism. Stones, water, plants are widely used here, so that the prototype of an extensive natural landscape is created. As a rule, the Japanese garden is not so much for walking, but for its contemplation.

The Russian garden is characterized by the harmony of the design of the garden and the surrounding nature, as well as a combination of beauty and benefit – there is a garden and a fruit garden. The layout of the Russian garden combines regular and natural motifs. The free growth of trees, flowers and herbs creates the mood of romanticism and some “neglect”.

When creating your own garden, you can use elements from a wide variety of styles. For example, get the entrance to the house in a regular front style with a few trees or shrubs with a correct crown, a lawn in the English style will look great behind the house, and a small shady corner is suitable for the Japanese garden of stones for relaxation.
