Construction of concrete structures. Use of vibration

Vibration technique is widely used to compact concrete mixture. Its use helps to get an excellent result: concrete becomes dense, homogeneous, without caver. Including, vibro -ramps are used to compact concrete.

This is a fairly simple, but very reliable equipment. It is a metal frame, with a vibrational mechanism strengthened on it.

The vibrations are installed on the surface of the concrete, which must be compacted, and then, as it is compacted, they begin to move the device.

Devices are divided by the method of moving on the surface of concrete to:

double – capable of working in directions;

floating, they are also called finishing, used in construction without guides.

The use of this technique makes it possible to obtain an almost perfectly flat surface, increases the strength of the concrete structure, and also increases operational qualities, including the wear resistance of the structure, that is, the operational period of the structure increases significantly.

The second advantage is associated with the deadline for the construction of objects, since the use of vibro -attack allows for a short time to perform large volumes of construction work.

The work is based on a simple physical principle: vibration affects the concrete solution, and this leads to the alignment of the mixture, the bubbles rise, and the mixture sags to the design level. Air cavities “go away”.

Working with this equipment requires practical experience, then the result will be quite high -quality. This equipment is used both in industrial and civil construction, in the process of road construction, when laying tunnels and building bridges.
