Glass block partitions

Glass block partitions

Glass blocks are similar in shape to brick, but inside they are not filled with anything. Thanks to this inner cavity, the material is a good sound and heat insulator. The outer texture of the glass block can be both smooth and corrugated, both matte and transparent.

The material is good when creating internal partitions, allow you to maintain natural light due to light permeability. The glass blocks do not need plastering and painting, in addition, it is convenient to operate due to the simplicity of caring for it.

Glass blocks are laid using a frame (wooden guide module), which is attached to the wall, ceiling and floor when interacting with a cement mortar. The width of the frame should be the corresponding thickness of the block. In the manufacture of the frame, glass blocks can be fastened with a variety of mounting fillers with non -carbonity with texture, so that the surface of the block is not damaged. For this purpose, the so -called “liquid nails”, silicone sealants, mounting foam and the like are well suited.

You can choose any material of your own free will, the main thing when choosing is the result: to plan and set the partition correctly, so that it not only shares the space, but also complement the interior.
